Shade Sails mainly use engineered steel posts and high-grade fixing hardware to maintain the fabric tension. Final mounting point and post positions depend on the area you are looking to shade, and practical site layouts.

Yes. Every Shade Sail is custom-designed and manufactured to suit your location. We consider the area requiring shade, surrounding buildings, existing equipment and the sun’s position when developing the layout. Multiple sails can also be combined to cover larger or irregular spaces.

We offer an extensive range of colours across our 3 ranges of commercial shade fabric. Available options depend on the fabric selected for your project. You can review the full colour range available with our team before finalising your Shade Sail design.

Yes. Shade Sails can be removed, cleaned and stored during winter, then reinstalled and tensioned for the warmer months. Contact our Aftercare team to enquire about seasonal removal, storage and reinstallation services.

Shade Sail projects typically take approximately 6–10 weeks from contract confirmation. Timing can vary depending on the site readiness and if any approvals or council consents are required. If your school or organisation has a preferred installation date, discuss it with our team during the planning stage.

We recommend regular inspection and maintenance every 12-36 months to ensure your Shade Sails are properly tensioned, clean and in good condition. Our Aftercare team can inspect fabric, fixings and supporting poles, and recommend an appropriate servicing schedule.
