Boffa Miskell, renowned landscape designers, approached us for help in finalizing a design involving the installation of shade sails over a court at a brand new college in Papamoa, Suzanne Aubert Catholic School. After initial discussions and considering the court’s layout, we proposed a revised design featuring 4 sails and 10 poles, strategically avoiding any obstruction to the courts at all. Our design was incorporated into the updated landscape plans by Boffa Miskell, and our quote was included in the tender package. The tender was open to all interested parties, and Waiotahi Contractors ultimately secured the contract. The shade sails, in line with the school’s traditional colours, Monotec370 Sheba Blue and Mellow Yellow. The poles were hot-dip galvanized with an extra 2-pack paint finish.
