MELANOMA AWARENESS – GET INVOLVED

The Melanoma Awareness  ‘Get Spotted’ campaign is approaching (from 20th September to 1st October), and Melanoma New Zealand would like your support.

We would like to encourage all NZ schools to participate. This is a perfect opportunity to teach children and young people the importance of being sunsmart.

Did you know more than 360 people die each year of melanoma in New Zealand? That’s higher than our annual road toll.

So get your students, staff and community involved. Have some fun by hosting a fundraiser, a sausage sizzle, a raffle, or a ‘Get Spotted’ mufti day, raising awareness about melanoma.  Make a difference!
