All-weather play and learning space
Gladestone Primary School take pride in their awesome learning environment and their staff are passionate about the art of learning. They aim to provide their students with a wide variety of stimulating and fun ways to learn. With that in mind, Gladstone School are continually looking at ways to improve their learning and play spaces and Shade Systems have had the privilege of been included in these projects many times.
The School recently resurfaced the “Village Green” area with Tiger Turf. They wanted to make this area an all-weather playing space which allows their students to use it year round. As the school already have a large COLA canopy by Shade Systems erected over another court area, we were the first company contacted for a second bespoke canopy design and proposal.
The COLA (Covered Outdoor Learning Area) will provide shade in the sunny months and shelter in the rainy months. Gladstone students can be active all year!
