That’s exactly what Principal, Suzanne Dawson did.

In 2019 Clendon Park School were financially able and ready to make the decision to invest in a COLA Canopy for their students and school community. They contacted our team for canopy designs and options.

The COLA features a hot-dipped galvanised structure, with a SAC tensile membrane cover (provides higher light transmission).  This is the largest unpainted structure we’ve designed and installed, at 756m². The canopy is also our first incorporating the truss rafters with round leg columns.

Principal Suzanne wanted a practical, cost-effective COLA (Covered Outdoor Learning Area) to provide all-weather protection for the students, and she loved the robust appearance of the truss design.
