Before the Oceania Petanque Championship in 2017, the Christchurch Petanque Club courts were refurbished. As part of the upgrade, Shade Systems were asked to design and install walkway shades over the player seating area. Providing sport shade is a challenge we are up for!
The shade system we went with is a standard “curved roof” walkway cover design, with hot-dipped galvanised and painted steel frame work. The Club chose a grey coloured Shadetec 320 as the fabric option, it has a 13 year warranty.
These shades provide a lovely addition to the courts that makes for a much better environment for the athletes.
